Alvin Ernest “Buss” Munson was born in Polk County, Texas on 24 Feb 1906 and was the son of William Berry Munson and Julia Ann Predmore. Buss died in Bay Town, Texas on 22 Jan 1952 and his body was laid to rest in the Blue Water Cemetery in Polk County, Texas

His nickname was “Buss.” He was killed in an oil field accident. He fell from the derrick of a drilling rig. He was a rig builder for 21 years, and a member of the Oil Field Workers Union No. 227.
